I thought for reasons of balance it was good to get a traders view to contrast with the organisers defence.

It is just a shame the show has been cancelled this year. The impression I get is that okay Donnington cancelling wasn’t the organisers fault but it would have been so much better if they had been open and honest with all about the predicament they were in and that the venue they found was the best they could do given the short notice.

Agree 100% with Leon's statement.

I'd be very surprised if Derby is back again. Unless there are major changes the show is dead  :'(

I never made it to Derby due to a variety of reasons and am disappointed that it appears I never will. It was always talked of among my group as one of th 'big shows' like Salute.

I am very happy though, to see that the Chillcon team are organising a show in 'Derby' at around the same time of year. Based on their success at picking up the pieces in Sheffield after Triples' demise, I hope they can be as successful in the autumn.
