Hi,
Asked my friend Stavrous Zouliatis to sculpt the Paraguayan War generals and here's the first. Brazilian General Osório.

Oh wow we are planning to do this war soon. Will you be doing General/President Lopez and his Irish Mistress? (who led mounted female lancers in battle)

So good they named a metro station after him (and about a thousand streets, places, the odd town, a tank etc, etc.) I take it in addition to Osório, we will get the Duque de Caxias? A man whose principle namesake isn’t quite so flattering.
A very nice sculpt. It’s really good to see you are revitalising this project Nuno. Look foward to seeing more of the range.

Thanks guys. More stuff coming out soon. WIP on Paraguayan General Barrios. As soon as there are three figures for the packs they'll be available.
I'll have to see about Sra. Lynch. First the basics.

Beautiful work. Don't you just love working with Stavros? He's such a great guy.

Brilliant sculpts.
I spent a couple of weeks in Ascension a few years back. Really enjoyed the old world charm , with a gunboat on the river next to the Baroque Presidential Palace ready for a coup attempt. . The El Supremo would have afternoon tea in our hotel and the his Elite Guards would shut the street down. Espresso Bongo was the hipster place back then with Latin Jazz and gigantic cocktails. Beef de Lomo every night .
In the Chaco desert are communities of Amish types ,,
but Mennonites l think . Wearing 19c clothes and living in their own villages . Also rumoured Mengle ,(boys from Brazil ) ended up there.
A truly crazy place .
