Galactic Heroes- Saving the Shrine
« on: May 30, 2018, 04:10:20 PM »
The ancient Templar Shrine has been targeted by Imperial Forces. They have sent the Dark Templar Oshiro with a Imperial Tac squad and a band of Ornk mercenaries to destroy it.
Standing in their way is a small group of locals led by Templar Wilja Stind (my Jedi name according to the internet).
A great chance to use some old lead:

No villain thinks he's the bad guy. You're bringing order to a lawless galaxy.

I am so looking forward to my rules arriving!!!!!

Nice looking game! Your games always have an interesting assortment of troops on the table.

Thanks.

It's called the "Kitchen Sink" approach.
I have a ton of ancient GW lead. Nice for it to see some light.

So glad I backed the Kickstarter.

What can be done to make Lord Oshiro more resilient?

There's a whole slew of possibilities like "9 Lives" which let's you ignore first out of action, but mostly not to walk down the street under the guns of about 5 hostiles.
Oh, and never attacked a down, wounded opponent. The Dice gods will punish you for that.

So is there any mechanism in the rules to use your 'laser sword' to deflect fire from the 5 hostiles?

Yes, he just wasn’t as good at it as his goodie-good opponent.
