Desert terrain for archaeological excavation
« on: May 31, 2018, 08:43:15 AM »
Next weekend, our team will present a game at the local German Wargameshow "Conflict Rheinland 2018", settled during Napoleon's campaign in Egypt.
One part of this participation game will include a Black Powder battle, where French troops will be attacked by Mameluks at an archaeological site, while another part will be a kind of Hack&Slay adventure game, played with the new Shooutout in Dingstown rules.

For the battlefield I have built two terrain pieces for the excavation site, as well as painted 4 Arab diggers.

I love that queen's head lying in the sand. So evocative. Almost enough to make one start quoting Shelley.

Thank you all guys  :-*

The heads are those typical souvenirs that are sold to tourists - the Nofretete was a complete bust that I have smashed into pieces, because I just needed the head itself  8)

Berman or Winters?

Lovely work by the way.
