Venaxia Italian Wars and Ottomans
« on: June 03, 2018, 08:32:42 AM »
Hi Guys,

I have seen on the Bizarre Commercial section that a UK interest has bought Venaxia's Italian Wars and Ottoman ranges.  THANK YOU to them.

But does anyone know who it is?

Thanks

Lancashire Games.

Ottomans and 15mm Italian Wars first, then 28mm Italian wars and finally the Louis XIV range towards the end of the year was the release schedule initially mentioned.

Excellent, more Italian Wars and Swiss needed!

Just found this thread...

Will the 28mm Italian Wars range include the 28mm Condottiere figures?

Perhaps robh has better info than me, but I think I recently saw an ad from them, mentioning 28mms being made available again, so I'm not sure the 15mm Italian Wars range is "next".

Hope I'm wrong, but just so you know, this range was sold/bought years ago, and as far as I know, there is no imminent date for the re-production of these.

Again, hope I'm wrong, but I wouldn't hold your breath, since I think it's been about 10 years or so, since they were last available.

There are some very nice, other ranges out there, which might fill the bill, including Essex, Minifigs (haven't seen these in the flesh, but their 100 Years Wars figs were quite nice, so......), and Blue Moon is one of the latest delving into this scale, and period.

Have only seen a few pics of the BM figs, so can't really comment on their quality.

Venexia did not produce "Italian Wars" (i.e., 1494-1529 or 1544) in 28mm. They started a 28mm range covering the mid to late 15th Century Italy, called "Condottieri."
