The Miniatures for this entry are not newly painted. Admiral Benbow told me, that there was an official complaint about this fact. It is allowed to use old miniatures, and I wrote Paul that these are not newly painted. I am not proud of this fact, but I have only a tiny amount of hobbytime available, and simply I was not able to paint up a new Team for Round 6.
To assume that I am trying to steal 10 Points disgust me. Whoever made this complaint: You could have asked me via PM. Or wait until the Leaderboard shows up.

I can absolutely confirm that Lt. Hazel declared his team as NOT new.  This is entirely permissible within the rules.

Several other entries from participants in previous rounds have also been 'not new', including one of my own (Barbarians - Round 5).  Such entries do not receive the 10 point 'New' bonus.

Really like both entries for this round - great work guys!

I wouldn't worry too much about it, I've received complaints over the years, from people who thought I'd shown something before (they were wrong) or that I was photoshopping bases out (I sent the Prof. additional pics to show I hadn't lol ).

I think it's just down to a misunderstanding of the rules by whoever raised it, that everything has to be newly painted. As Overlord says, it doesn't - provided you don't attempt to claim the 'newly painted' bonus points.
In my experience of taking part in and running many LPLs, most people try to turn out new teams for each round most of the time, but occasionally real life gets in the way, and you may have to resort to something you've shown before. It's not the end of the world. I hadn't seen Lt Hazel's entry before, so it was a great new scene for me  :)

Lovecraft and his Cthulhu / deep one beasties are also excellently painted  8)
