Ronin vs En Garde

Hello, I am a happy player of both Ronin and En Garde. I started with Ronin and enjoyed the game. Then I picked up En Garde. This game I found much more streamlined and now I prefer to play my Japanese figure using En Garde instead. I still use the point system to build my Buntai from Ronin.

Is anyone else in this boat? Or anyone that much more prefers Ronin to En Garde? I'd like to hear your opinions.

We made same decision in our club. :)
After playing En Garde! first time it became obvious that it is just streamlined and improved version of Ronin, something like Ronin 2.0.
So we converted all Ronin army lists to En Garde using points cost calculator present in the rulebook and it turned out quite well.
