First group of Austrians is now finished! I've started on the next group of Wurttembergers, an officer, and NCO.

I've finished the third group of Wurttemberg line infantry, along with an NCO to pull shock off.

Next up is an officer and Jaeger test paint, which I should have done tomorrow morning.

Gorgeous one more time!
Are you planning something with the command groups/flags?

I'll be painting and basing them all up individually, as I plan on using them for Sharp Practice 2. I'll be doing a bunch of leaders, a group of sappers/engineers, standard, musician, and a physician.

Good standard of painting for sure but the Wurttemberger conversions are truly splendid.

Congratulations!

Thank you! I'm pretty pleased with them! Anyone can do them really, which is the best thing in my opinion. It's really just a head swap and paint job. The biggest issues are not cutting your fingers off when you remove the heads and having to buy a bunch of boxes of French so that you can get the fusilier bodies, as the Wurttembergers didn't have big epaulets. However, all the extra bodies are a great starting point for several other armies that wear the same uniform, such as French (obviously), Swiss, Italians, and Irish Legion.

Here are some Frenchmen/Swiss/Italians/Irish Legionaries to support my Wurttembergers and the start of my next forces. Since all of the aforementioned units wore pretty much the same uniform when wearing the greatcoat, they should serve as a good base to add to for several forces.

By the way, if anyone is interesting in trading for some regular fusiliers (without greatcoats or epaulets) I'm going to have a ton of guys in greatcoats.

Here come the first of two groups of Jagers. The light infantry units from Wurttemberg were rated highly, even among the relatively highly rated Wurttemberg line troops. Armed with rifles, the Jagers functioned much like Austrian Jagers or British riflemen, scouting for enemies, foraging, and acting as skirmishers in battle. With them is their NCO leader. After the Jagers, I'll be putting the final two groups of line on the table and then it's onward to the cavalry and light infantry.

All figures are Perry plastics. The bodies are French Voltiguers and some of the arms are from the British riflemen sprues.

Just finished up a fourth group of Wurttemberg line infantry, the first four French without greatcoats, and four Austrian line infantry. I have another group of Wurttemberg Jagers, the last group of line, my first group of light infantry, two deployment points, and another twelve Austrian line infantry on the painting desk at the moment. It''s a bit of a mess, honestly.

Thanks guys!

Grant, were they converted from Perry French? In 28mm? I'd love to see some pictures if you have any!
