Some more minis for weird little guys:
Northumbrian Tinsoldier's Nightfolk range has some suitable minis
Raging Heroes has a box with 7 little demon familiars, they are resin minis and some are a bit fiddly bits heavy but quite cute (well, kind of). Still haven't assembled mine.
sanity is for cowards

Miniatures wise Eureka's Chaos line is very suitable

and Antediluvian miniatures have their medieval demons range

@ Diablo Jon: yup, both nice ranges (and allready linked to).

More minis:

Fenris Games:
Deep Ones, not your typical man-fish-hybrids but rather beastmen (or fiskmenne, if you'd like to give them a pseudo medieval name) http://fenrisgames.com/shop#!/Deep-Ones/c/8945807/offset=0&sort=normal

also stocking the Bederken/ Darkling Games Chaos Dwergs, a certain Mr. Crowangle in particular would fit right in.

Can picture the Aetheric Fishtank stalking the planes of Hell as well...

Ral Partha Europe:
Has some of the old Heartbreaker Kev Adams demons and the Demonworld Torgogs.
Also selling the old Vor Minis- the Growler Pups would make good little demon critters.

CP Models has a range of Chaos Dwarfs that includes some suitable specimens.

Four A Miniatures has quite a few nasty little ones, e.g. Oswald, Mortimer and his girl, the Pumilis Limax trio

Heresy Miniatures has the Demonic Familiars and some rather nasty Maggotmen.

Then there's this: https://www.facebook.com/boris.woloszyn/photos/a.611409158977069.1073741835.596063407178311/1608358609282114/?type=3&permPage=1
While not available, the comment "For now, will be a single work. But I already have proposals to make a KS." makes me hope there will be a range of Boschian Oddities emerging somewhere...

For inspiration, why not have a look at Don Han's blog: http://realmofcitadel.blogspot.com/
That at times almost luminescent painting combined with black & white art on the shieldes makes for quite an otherworldly look. Try to imagine a whole landscape coloured that way with ruined buildings in stark black & white for contrast, populated by demons and weird little hybrid guys and gals.
