Very nice, as usual. :)

Isn't that minelayer from the Hybrid boxed game? I think I recognize him (as I have both the game and the expansion). I really like that part of the Griffin line; they're  (almost) realistic, yet they still have a definite air of fantasy about them. 8)

Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

It certainly is! I have the game, but have never played it. The Griffins are my favorite human faction. I have all but 2 of the models from the Rackham line. AND I'M HUNTING THOSE (for a reasonable price)

Which models do you need then? I have a huge collection of Confrontation models (and also loved the Griffins), which I’m gonna sell, now that we have moved and my daughter was born.
Maybe I can help.

The mounted standard bearer for the Griffin Praetorian Knights... sadly rackham didn't create any metal mounted knights for the Griffin army. They did give us some beautiful mounted Thallions that I hope to be painting pretty soon... but this guy is from their prepainted plastics line and I added quite a few details and rebased him of course... thankfully the guys who have created Legends of Signum have carried on the Rackham style sculpts and have several mounted figures that are a shoe in for the Griffin army. I'll be grabbing those in time.

blimey, I should think you are indeed happy with those trees, superb.

... I wonder how long it'll be before consumer machines can pop out such models 'coloured-in' to a standard few of us could match.
be a very different hobby then I guess. The crafting side will be a thing of the past for many gamers in 5-10 yrs  - and why should that matter after all.

love the new figures.

With a bit of tlc and attention, those pieces can look really good! 8)

One suggestion; perhaps put some colour on those shields? Even just a plain off-white or something like that would help :)

The pieces match your basing style pretty well too. I take it they're made to match your tabletop?

You are absolutely correct. I was waiting to see what color green i will be using for my Rohan shields before I took them further. And yes, I have 2 colors of flock that I use for my armies... for my terrain pieces I have mixed the 2 together so either army looks at home on the boards.
