Thank you! The secret is oregano!

Here we have more from the army of Acheron... some poor Lions of Alahan that have been taken control of by necromancers and turned into zombies to further the cause of darkness...

oregano - ha!

what a bloomin' shame that Rackham figures are no longer 'widely' / readily available - they were / are superb. And you're certainly doing them justice. This last batch of 'foot' skellies zombies are just brilliant.

The Rackham centaurs are possibly the best centaurs ever made. I like them even more than my cherished Oldhammer ones. Great paintjobs- as usual - on these!

Thanks guys! Glad you are enjoying my labor of love... Switching gears to the Holy Griffin Empire, here we have the "Magistrate".... was nice to switch styles back to a neat and tidy gentleman's uniform... For those wondering what I'm accomplishing, I'm working my way through my current assembled and primed pile... it's large... but, I'm plugging though it... slowly..

I love that Magistrate! One of the best models Rackham ever released. Even though it’s not the most dynamic or most complex model, it simply looks stunning! And it has a lot of uses in 40k for instance.

The Magistrate is one of the few minis I still need to get.

Well done.

I had the magistrate looking at me for over a year... I had to build my confidence before I tackled him...

Here we have the masked holy warrior of the Griffin Empire, "Misericord"

Great additions! Misericorde is another favorite of mine. The model is simply great!

I liked the earlier predators more than the predators of blood. Even though the were more static, but thinking about it there were several sculpts in the last phase of confrontation which I liked less than their predecessors (mainly the multipart unit boxes andthe new sessairs).

Did Rackham switch sculptors maybe?

No, the sculptors remained mostly the same throughout its history... The multi-part was a push to market to people using for Confrontation Rag'narok, warhammer, and other systems where large armies were needed and people didn't want to repeat 3 or 4 sculpts over and over again... it allowed the minis to be built in many ways with weapons and arms to be angled differently much as our sprues are now... they were innovators there and at the forefront of the multi-part sprue.... I remember a LOT of warhammer Orc and Dwarven armies being built using a lot of Rackham sculpts because at the time GW had gotten pretty bland with their sculpts... They obviously remedied that, but rackham was hot on their tails for a while and the number 3 system in europe after warmachine... then... death.
