Finished another Kelt Sessairs Centaur archer finished... and I decided to do a photo of the entire Kelt army to date... barely fit them all in the photo booth...

Great work on these, I especially like the archers- I don't think I see those painted as often as the rest.

I appreciate that... Aside from the factory paint jobs that you can google, i don't see hardly any of these painted. For how many they sold, you sure don't see nicely painted ones pop up online much. And not on the battlefield especially. I'm getting close to being able to have a nice size battle strictly with Rackham models... which is something I would LOVE to see from someone else online too... i might be the only one doing this??

Great pics of the army so far.  :-* Excellent work and I'm a sucker for group shots. They really look top notch.

I often have similar thoughts about a number of ranges, but yeah, Rackham figs are a prime example. They are still second to none after all these years and I'm sure there are many with closets-full. Speaking for myself, I have quite a few but have never counted myself a Rackham fanatic but I have a good number of them (and just bought two large forces at a convention recently), and they are among my favorite figures in my collection, especially the drunes, daikinee and a few from Cadwallon. If my painting queue priority was based strictly on quality of figures these would be higher on the list, but in reality there are many competing factors in prioritization.

Pretty sure the Falconers are Alahan troops?

I can only agree that it's sad how few painted Confrontation armies are seen around the net. I'm one of those with the closet full, but never painted much of the collection. So many other projects always luring away my attention.

It is a constant joy to see updates to your thread, though!

You sir are correct... they are Alahan. My mistake! I've been priming up a bunch of Griffin fusiliers the last few days.... mind is on Griffins! I think because Confrontation fell out of favor that people parked their minis in the que... however I just love the armies and how unique they are and the lore of the universe. I'll use my armies more for wargames then for confrontation... mostly because I'm the only person who knows how to play it in my area (and most likely the only collectorand painter)... I have 3 young sons, so there is hope for a sparing partner in the future!

I recently treated myself to a 3d printer for my birthday... I had a bit of learning to do, but I feel decently confident now and I'm achieving good results... here is my first fantasy print... some whimsical trees for scenery... still need paint. My kids as well as I are all mesmerized by the process...
