Finished up some resin terrain from TH Miniatures... Love this stuff... The sculptor and owner worked for Rackham as a painter and really picked up on there style of terrain... this fits in perfectly with my vision of a battlefield on Aarklash....

Thanks everyone!... as to the comment about the number of Rackham miniatures... it's... a .... lot... I completed the entire 1250+ catalog last year... and I have doubles and tripples of probably 35-40% of them... I HOPE to have the entire catalog painted within 5 yrs.... stay tuned! I painted 468 minis last year... a lot of those were song of ice and fire and joan of arc... but a lot of Rackham too... I plan to paint around the same amount this year, but it will probably mostly be Rackham.... I have some ice and fire boxes to paint as well... but I hope to keep up the pace.

man ... you've got to start doing some larger group pics for us too  :)

The complete Rackham catalogue?

That is going to be a feat worthy of a half-god!

Beautiful terrain. I find the trees especially nice. Great contrast on the bark.

Say, I may have asked that before, but can't remember: You don't happen to have a second Golborak?

Wow wow wow
Rackham was always my favourite miniatures line and its great to see someone doing such justice to the sculptors work (far superior to anything gw has ever managed imo)

If You keep this up I might be tempted to open my box of 30-40 odd wolfen/devourers and finally get them painted

Nearly 500 painted miniatures in a year? Awesome

@Bloggard, I do need to get some larger army shots... i'll put that on the agenda!...

@Peithetairos, I do have a second Golborak, but he's sealed in the blister and a part of my sealed collection... so I won't part with him. Sorry! Keep watching the forums and facebook.. I've seen him pop up from time to time....

@chimpfoot.... please please pull out those Wolfen and start painting!! Happy to be inspiring people to pull these beautiful sculpts back out and slapping some paint on them...

I must concurr  :) ... or even concur

that wizard could have been straight out of an Arthur Rackham illustration ... I wonder who the sculptor was - extraordinarily talented.
But it's your painting style / colour choices that really brings out that impression - beautiful.
