Those are terrific!  I would love to have a Dacian army some day.  I've gone for a little later with mid-Romans and Sassanids.  I think there were still some Dacians around, but my first next opponent I would love to have would be Goths.  Not sure what to do about figures for those - I'm not that keen on the footsore infantry but the Footsore cavalry is first rate.

How do you find painting patterns?  I've just started working on some Gauls and I had been put off for a long time worrying about the patterns but I'm not finding them that problematic in reality.  Of course it's a little more work than a solid tunic or trousers, but the only real challenge is figuring out which color combinations work well and are believable.

Wow! Excellent paintjob and very well chosen postures, en masse they look terrific! This IS a warband!

Beautiful work!  I stalled out after 5 warbands (some by Pictors Studio) and a few large horse units.  Need to get our group back to Ancients again for motivation.

These are beautifully painted and do look very wold.  I do wonder how wild the Dacians really were.  I thought they were relatively civilised.
