Pulp Aircraft
« on: February 25, 2007, 11:34:40 PM »
I've been nosing around 28mm scale aircraft for my Pulp game.

There's not a lot out there, but there are some exceptions.

There these from Model Power

Army - With pontoons - olive drab - if this had two seats and was silver it would be the plane at the start of Raiders...

This is a good site listing planes of the Spanish Civil War in various scales including 1/48.

Aeroclub used to make a 1/48 DE89 Dragon Rapide, but I quickly found it goes for biggish money on eBay.

Italeri make a Henscel HS-123 and a CR42.

Revell make a Junkers Ju52 and Henschel HS-123.

ESCI/Ertl used to make a Lockeed Vega.

Love that top one (well, all of them, really). Sea planes are so cool. Does anyone know of any Great War floatplane kits in 1/48th?

I'd really like a floatplane.

Very cool floatplane here:

this kit is available elsewhere so do a web search.
Testors used to do an SB6 (Schnieder Trophy winner and forerunner of the Spitfire), try ebay for both?

Aahhh, Porco Rosso! Gotta love that one! I used to have an AMV featuring scenes from PR underlaid with Wagner´s "Ride of the Valkyries"... ah, the good old days.
