Nice dusty painting.

I have to ask, was it usual to put the tactical and divisional signs on the sand screens when fitted?

Thank you. I have seen pictures showing the tactical and divisional signs both on the sand screens and off them, so I was a bit unsure: I do not know which of these options was the norm or the exception, so eventually I just went the way I liked it more. It has to be noted that originally my purpose was to create a tank for Italy, hence more dust than mud; but eventually I found out that the decals I had for the 6th Armoured were too old and just disintegrated in water and the other decals I had were all for Northwest Europe....

By the way, the majority of CW tank in Italy were in Mediterranean livery (basically desert one with some modification) rather than the dark green used in NWE... you got lucky that the decals disintegrated!  lol

I was going for the 16th/5th Lancers from 6th Armoured and the pics I have found seem to show a monochrome livery in 1944, so I assume it should be either Bronze Green or even Olive Drab. But then decals happened...
