Battle of Raphia in 15mm
« on: June 16, 2018, 11:43:50 AM »
Inspired by Simon Miller, of Big Red Bat Blog fame, last year I decided to collect both sides to re-fight the successor battle of Raphia between the Seleucids and the Ptolomys.

It is a large undertaking with nearly 1500 figures and 34 elephants. I have used Xyston figures for all of the collection.

There are plenty of work in progress pictures on my blog

Well Nic the painting is almost complete, just 20 elephants to buy and paint.  The hardest thing for me will be basing, I have basing and there are about 160 plus bases to do!

Impressive. I was happy to do Raphia in 6mm. Doing it in a larger scale would give me night mares.  :D
