Ah! One of the small joys to be a father!  ;)
Impressive unit, Well painted I especially like much the flesh tones.
Another beautiful addition to your collection! Cheers!

Great looking unit.
Don't be too hard yourself about what unit is what.
In the end you have an excellent painted unit.
And you will have a great time playing with it.

Thanks gents.

Dinthedin I enjoy painting horses these are done with oil paints using a paint on, wipe off technique.

Marine 0846 I appreciate the sentiment thank you. Think I needed to convince myself they were a good fit as much as anyone else.

I love painting horses and I'm very glad you used this technique, I've tried the same in the past, with excellent results! Cheers!

Lovely looking unit :-* painted some of these myself they are lovely sculpts.
I'm a big fan of the Sikh Wars and have a lot of the old Foundry stuff, they are showing their age now and I wish someone would bring out a new range. I know Footsore did some greens but nothing came of it, I'd happily use some of the ID stuff but even doing that there are still some crucial unit types missing. Ah well maybe someday :)

Agreed Jeff965 Studio Miniatures released a range which started well, a lot of the later sculpts were not that nice and were subsequently withdrawn. They have not added to the range since. There are also figures you can use in their First Afgham War range, still as you say key units missing. I can organise units for most things. The Gurkhas are probably my biggest headache at present.
