28mm WW1 Turkish Cavalry
« on: March 21, 2018, 05:05:19 PM »

https://yarkshiregamer.blogspot.co.uk/2018/03/28mm-ww1-turkish-cavalry.html

Something a bit different from YG studios today.

It was about time I got some Cavalry for Mesopotamia, here is attempt No 1. Obscure figures from Minifigs of all people.

A nice addition to the collection but I will need a few more before they become useful. Wish there was more figures avaliable for WW1 in the East.

Regards Ken

Só you’re with Hammers but you haven’t fucked? No need for an update. :)

Those Minifigs look rather good, I wouldn’t have guessed the figures’ provenance.

Very nice indeed Ken.

The lances look a bit long? Or maybe it is just the photo?

Nice looking unit! I see from your blog that you're looking for looking for other manufacturers
the only other ones I know of are Battle Honors from Old glory 15s
https://oldglory15s.com/Turk-Cavalry-WWITK-8.htm
I only have their inf. and they fit in with woodbine oK just a bit smaller

Not necessarily for the Eastern area but Tiger miniatures make the Turks in the 1909 uniform. http://www.tigerminiatures.co.uk/USERIMAGES/100_1728.JPG

Yorkshireman to Yorkshireman, you understand.

I'm glad they don't make more / better figures. There are enough shiny drains emptying my wallet.

Nicely done.
