10mm scratchbuilt fantasy buildings

(1/2) > >>

Oldben1:
I recently bought some 10mm prepainted buildings.  I was very disappointed with the casting and painting.  After finishing some 15mm Japanese buildings I thought I would try 10mm fantasy buildings.
These buildings will be used for my 10mm Heroquest and Crom games.  All are made with carboard, foamcore and lego chimneys.  They are not super historically accurate but a totally new experience for me.

They are very nice! Good build. :)

OSHIROmodels:
I think they've turned out fine and I wouldn't worry too much about historical accuracy if they are for fantasy. As long as they look 'right' (which these do) it'll be fine  :)

Bren:
Very nice indeed. I've always liked the half timbered look for fantasy.

With the Forgeworld Warmaster terrain OOP and going for absurd amounts of money online, there is a distinct lack of affordable "fantasy specific" terrain available for 10mm these days. Medieval terrain works well but there is a definite gap in the market for the out-of-square, ramshackle look that works so well for fantasy games or Forgeworldesque wizard's tower type buildings which defy the laws of physics.

blacksmith:
I like them!
