LAM webstore hiatus?
«
on:
June 21, 2018, 11:18:45 AM »
Hello,
My apologies if this is in the wrong section; it was my best guess.
I was wondering if there were any Lead Adventure Minis people around who might be able to let us know when the webstore is going to reopen. The notice regarding upgrades has been up for a month, but no indication of when (hopefully not "if"...) things will be back.
TIA for any info,
E

Yeah what's the deal? After years I finally decided to finish my GW Empire army and need some Bruegelburgers to finish off some units.

I don't have definitive Info, but there are currently technical updates to be resolved and organisational changes to be implemented. It's a few- men operation so may take some time, but the site will be back.
Prof. Witchheimer will put up a notice on here. Do remember that LAF is no longer associated with LAM, but we're still all good friends.

WChris -
Thank you for the info and reassurance. Like fitterpete, I'd (finally) gotten ready to buy a bunch of minis, only to find the upgrade notice when I tried to pull the trigger.
Given the lack of updates on their FB page, and the sudden appearance of the current main page, it felt a bit like other miniature makers disappearing ("we're switching servers" or "we're moving" and never surfacing again...).
Even though they aren't the ones holding the forum reins, I figured someone here would know what was up with the LAM crew

Hi Enty and Pete,
No worries, we will be back sooner or later. Sorry for not being able to give you an exact date for that, there are some tasks and updates outstanding. A few people are involved, as Chris mentioned (thank you, btw
), and it takes some time.
Btw, we can take the orders via E-Mail or PM (here on LAF), thus feel free to reach out to me if needed
Thanks
Alex

Thanks Alex. I'll have to wait for the webstore to be up again. I need to see the pics to figure out what I want

The range is carried by Magister Militum in the UK, and there are pics on their site:

They also generally take them to shows, I think; certainly I've bought a few from them at Salute and so on.

Prof W-
Suhweeet! You are the man
Thanks for this work-around. I'll drop you a PM.
To those looking for LAM stuff:
In case the previous link doesn't work for you, I found the archive has a snap from a couple weeks ago:
https://web.archive.org/web/20170707221231/http://www.lead-adventure.com/index.php?cPath=22
also, if it would be of use, the Bruegelburg Kickstarter has pictures:
