WW1 Limbers
« on: June 21, 2018, 12:32:08 PM »
Could I make a request for limbers to be added to the GWM WW1 range?

German limber c/w Early & Later War riders
French limber with riders
Late War British limber riders

These "missings" to the GWM WW1 ranges have been outstanding for a long time now.

Yes, that would be outstanding.

I appreciate I am requesting the commissioning and production of figures which may not sell in any great numbers. I think it would salutary for us wargamers to know, in our requests for additions to ranges, how many figures need to be sold before all production costs are recovered?

For late war British I just head  swapped GWM and I see that Foundry have re released their British limber. Same job on the Foundry FPW limber, head swapping again solves the problem.

don't forget that most of the WW1 artillery limbers ( at least French and German ) saw extensive use during WW2 ...

it increase the possibility of sales  :)

I just don't get on with doing head swaps. If the limbers requested are available I would buy them. Otherwise I will wait or do with out. For the British, French and Americans, the 5T Holt tractor is a reasonable compromise. I do think a limbers look great on the table though.

Admittedly I did a head swap on the driver which was just about okay.
