German-Russian Museum Berlin-Karlshorst
« on: June 22, 2018, 06:22:20 AM »
Today is the 77th anniversary of the beginning of the German-Russian War of 1941-1945.
My report is about the museum in Berlin, that shows an really interesting exhibition of that war.
Here the german capitulation was signed at 8./9. May 1945.
The museum is trilingual: The explanations are in German, Russian and English.
My report is in German and English.
Have fun with the pictures.

Thanks for the head's up in regard to this museum.

I've visited Berlin at least 16 times in the last 14 years and never knew about this museum. I even stayed at a very pleasant small hotel (Hotel Azur) in nearby Kaulsdorf on 5 or 6 occasions. On a day with decent weather, I could have walked to the museum from the hotel.
