20mm NORMANDY
« on: June 24, 2018, 09:02:02 PM »
Itís been a while since my 20mm kit was used. A social night of five of us formed up to have a bash this Weds eve . A few Bratwurst hit the BBQ .

A British Infantry Bn. From 3rd British Inf Div took on the local German Inf Div in situ just over the hill from Colville, plus of WN 17 Hillman.

Great fun and the game twisted each way more than once. Played in great spirit. Jim , newbie  to the group and new to Wargaming so, as is the norm ..... his dice throwing was shocking!

The British were aggressive, fought through two main objectives and broke up the predictable German counter attack. 6 pounders and 17 pounder Anti Tank Guns  caught the supporting German armour from hidden defilade positions and the increased chances of a hit when the target is side on ,saw them immobilise the Tiger ( only one in the game) and destroy and immobilise four Panthers.

Looks a fantastic game, the terrain is amazing! Are the green fields made from teddy bear fur? Where can you get it please and how easy is it to paint?

That's a really fine looking table. I can only dream of getting that level of terrain on the table.
Well, that should stop Rocket Morton from getting all the girls.
