Where did everybody go?
« on: June 26, 2018, 06:35:28 AM »
Awfully quiet round these parts of late.  Is there some bad hombre chasing folks off to other corners?

Or is this the calm before the storm unleashes a veritable sirocco of creativity?

Slow as I am, working on my walking dead project takes all the time I have.
I have left my old west project for now. But I will come back to it for sure.

Work & all that damn real life nonsense demanding too much of my time as of late. I did however manage to score an old ping-pong table to begin constructing a town!
I am looking for the following Deadlands minis:  Shotgun Thug, Lost Soul, Cleaners, Railroad Workers & Feral Dead. If you have any of these minis, or if you are one, please send me a PM.

Suitably inspired after watching For A Few Dollars More last night, we will be playing a 54mm game today and another tomorrow, with Spanish food to follow after. The fare isn't Southwestern, I suppose, but close enough!

My figures are all painted, my town is built.  I've got rules I like (Ffol), and loads of scenarios.  Not much more to talk about.  Unless I decide to sell the Black Scorpion figures and go to standard 28mm.

I enjoy painting old west figures but, locally I'm not sure there is enough interest to play.  My plan is to work on some Dracula's America which concurrently builds my OW collection and hopefully get friends to check that out.  Baby steps.

There is no reason you can't combine the two.  The other night on television they had the American cinema classic "Billy the Kid versus Dracula".
