Best 15mm models for Chinese Warring States/Chin army?
« on: July 05, 2018, 11:19:36 PM »
After some time procastinating, I decided to appeal to the forum gurus for their wisdom.  ???

The thing is, I am going to build a DBMM army of this period but I am not sure which are the best models available in the market. A friend of mine told me that the Essex ones where of good quality, but I lack any more information and searching by Google does not clarified my doubts.

So, I would like to ask you your two cents about this topic. Which Warring States/Chin models would you recommend me?

Museum Miniatures were good, if I remember my ancient 15mm days correctly.

Possibly on the large size though, based on all the MM figures I've got, more 18mm than 15!

The Only nice Chinese army miniatures that I know off are Lurkio's Han Dynasty Chinese, fantastic looking figures

Hope this helps.

Thank you all. :)

Luriko's seem to be quitegood models indeed, but they also seem to be a bit too modern even for the latest Chin. About Museum minaitures, they do not look like the Terracota Army. Perhaps they represent less professional forces? I will look into that.

Also the lovely Gallia range are still available via Warrior Miniatures (sadly no pictures apart from google search)

It is a shame Warrior miniatures do not have pictures. I have been unable to find them on Google.  :(

I was about to buy my army from Black Hat but the friend I mentioned earlier told me that Essex has better models that Black Hat (And indeed that was the case with his Aztecs).
