Pulp Alley Gang War Battle Report
« on: July 01, 2018, 05:14:07 PM »
It's a Gang War in Vice Alley Dr Fang's Hatchetmen are having a showdown with Lester Lunchbox's rowdy crew for some prime park territory. The stage is set for a bloody showdown.

Dr Fang is set up on the east side of the park, watching and waiting for the Lunchbox to show himself.

On the west side of the park behind a clump of trees, Lunchbox and his crew eye the park, a few bystanders are milling around, maybe some of them could be persuaded to help keep Dr Fang out.

Lunchbox gives the signal to move, and Rachel wastes no time in shimmying up to the unsuspecting guy. She flashes him a little thigh and he's practically putty in her hands.

Lester himself moves out of the trees, they were blocking his line of vision anyway and he moves towards another bystander, he attempts to look casual as he moves across the park. The rest of his crew fan out trying to get in close to the middle of the park, but keeping behind hedgerows, just in case.

Okie Joe walks up to the nearest bystander, "Join or die!" Well, that wasn't a difficult choice, so the youth agrees to join Dr Fang.

From the hazy shadows evil starts to creep into the park.

Lester's sidekick De Muertos, does even less to persuade the onlooker to join the Lunchbox crew, one flash of his skull mask, and the kid freely offers his services.

Lunchbox doesn't have the winning charm the rest of his crew has, the bystander is terrified of the hulking figure behind him, so much so that he can't even turn to face Lunchbox for fear of passing out.

Gunshots shatter the quiet park as one of the Lunchbox crew opens fire. He took one down!

His victory is short lived when from around the park's gate someone fires back and he goes down.

Fang's men are deep into the park now, they fear nothing, except Dr Fang's wrath.

"These guys are nuts!! Run away! Run Away! Lunchbox will save me!"

De Muertos is in trouble... the goons are storming the park.

Rachel is extremely persuasive and she easily convinces her charge to run into the fray, but he is knocked to the ground. Her fury is ignited and without thought she rushes in, scratching and fighting like a wildcat.

Lester's crew is starting to crumble under the relentless wave of Dr Fang's henchmen.

But never doubt Lester Lunchbox's ability to bring someone onto his team, after an offer of free food for life at his diner, the young lad eagerly joins his crew.

The caped De Muertos is no slouch and he stands his ground battling all the dare to approach him.

But the hardened Okie Joe refuses to yield to the masked man and De Muertos is forced to back into the gate.

Rachel gasps in fear as Dr. Fang slowly creeps towards her, not even a flash of her leg can save her this time!

Dr Fang's laugh illuminates the park as Rachel crumbles before him.

Dr. Fang moves into the inner circle of the park and waits, his plan is coming together very nicely indeed. He stands alone, drawing on his power as he calls up dark spirits to invade the park and force his enemies out. His men know their jobs, they must keep everyone away, until he is ready.

De Muertos is alone in a sea of enemies, standing between him and the dastardly Dr Fang.

But that's never stopped him before. "Form an orderly line and I'll deal with you all in turn!" He commands readying himself.

Lunchbox snarls as a puny thug rushes towards him, he bounces off Lunchbox and falls limply to the ground, Lester barely notices, he has his sights set on a much bigger prize.

Seething with rage Lester is stopped short as an vile green mist forms a large circle around Fang protecting him.

The Lunchbox crew is left standing on the outside watching Dr Fang call his devil minions to him. They are forced to flee the park, gathering their wounded as they go.

Dr Fang stands triumphant watching his enemies flee before him. The park is his!

Whew! That was so exciting we are exhausted.

Bessy,

Great report!  Loved your miniatures and terrain.  Nice story tying the game together.  Look forward to your next report.

Matakishi,

Dr. Fang is a Pulp Alley miniature, comes as a pair with Golgo Satana:

Lunchbox is Mr. Graves from Wyrd games Malifaux:

Seriously, something needs to be done about that evil Dr. Fang and his minions.

Where are Phantom Ace and Pulp Girl when you need them?
