I've finally finished my first major Confederate formation in 10mm - Harry Heth's Division for Gettysburg: http://www.jemimafawr.co.uk/2018/07/03/in-dixie-land-ill-make-my-stand-building-a-10mm-confederate-army-part-1/

Got them already. Super figures.

"Police are struggling to understand why the late Mr Waterhouse was found under a massive pile of butternuts, but believe it was down to a tragic misunderstanding and are seeking a rogue amateur hypnotist to assist them with their enquiries..."

Well it's taken 9 months, but the sun finally came out again in Wales long enough for me to photograph the next division... So here's Pender's 3rd Division of A. P. Hill's III Corps:

Ah! Pendraken! So gorgeous! How I love 10mm scale!
The view of your so well painted minis urges me to go and take out of the shelves my ACW army!
Although I had never the joy to paint Pendraken (mine was made from Chariot and GHQ)
Now and then we had a hope that if we lived and were good, God would permit us to be pirates. – Mark Twain, Life on the Mississippi

Chariot were ace (if a little fragile)!  Ironically, I got rid of my small quantity of (unpainted) Chariot 10mm models about a year before I decided to do 10mm ACW - I once had a whim to do 1850s Italian Wars and got a few Chariot Franco-Prussian and ACW figures to give it a go, but it soon passed...

Cheers!  I photographed some other formations as well (A.P. Hill & friends, Rodes' Confederate Division, the Union XI Corps and a few other odds and sods painted during the winter), so they will also appear soon.
