Evil Dave's Epic Squats
«

I haven't been painting much recently, but I've been doing a bit of building and re-basing of my Squats. I'd like to get these all primed, with their bases done and they're nearly there. There's also a few more things (Land Train, Steel Hawks, War Hawks, Mole Mortars) that still need to be built, and I need to source 3 more Hearthguard models (that's the one empty base).
When the Mole Mortars are done my infantry will almost completely fill this tray except for a small .125"x.5" area. For some reason that's tremendously satisfying.

WOW.
Waiting for this thread.
You stole my love with Eldar as I like Eldar best (I am Ork Player by accident an acomulation of models
but Eldar at heart) so I am waiting for some painted samples.

Cool, always good to see Squats. What colour scheme are you going for?
I'm impressed that you have been able to source Thunderfires and Golatiths, I went with proxies for them, and for the Iron Eagles.

Thanks guys.
@fred, they're going to be Grindel brotherhood. Blue pants, white armor, steel guns.
Ya, I got lucky with the Thunderfires, I found them painted on eBay a few years back for 15gbp for 4.

A good score on the Thunderfires.
That paint scheme is a lot more complex than I’d go for with an Epic army. I went with a lurid green for mine.

Complex is relative.
