Replace the head on those Rhodesians and they become useful for all sorts of miniatures, from the 50s onward. I'm busy trying to find what the stocks of the RPD were like in the post-Soviet states as an excuse to pick them up eventually.

That's not a bad idea, could work for lots is South/central American Soviet/Cuban supplied forces.

I was originally thinking Empress wooley hat heads, and then I remembered the bags of umused Crooked Dice minion heads.

Seems like a lot of us are thinking the same way.* Might as well ask: Are the heads separate?

Separate in the way that a pair of pliers and a quick twist would make them separate...

I've far too many guys with AKs right now, so probably won't pick these up (and that's before I pledge for another Chechen Kickstarter). Still, there's not many RPDs out there, so if you want some of those these are the models to collect.
