There are some allegations of a scam being run. I didn't really want to comment as it's for backers to make up their own mind.

The rules appear to be more than a bit similar when compared to CMON's Massive Darkness. Somewhere on the web is a PDF that compares each page to one and another...

well, its an interesting minor distraction, whilst waiting for other things to finish.

Better than confrontation classic KS at the moment.

Still, I will save my $, and just watch..

Yeah, Rising Sands didn't appeal to me anyway

. I'd rather spend my few bucks on the Miremarsh Kickstarter ( check it out, it's a shameless plug, I know but I've got nothing to do with those guys ).

Took a gander at the whole thing myself, even at a glance it looks very didgy with lots of the rules text/legal text cribbed off other countries, the people running it represent the whole thing as a Canadian venture yet both are based in Pakistan.

Most damning is no replies from the people running it since the revelations.

As a former fraud investigator; it's a scam.

No need to dance about it to be polite. You can call it a scam.

Anyone who can be convinced to withdraw their money, should be. Ideally KS should cancel the project entirely.

Probably you're right. As far as I understand it they copied prases from the Massive Darkness rulebook, the took the tail from the Firefox logo and mixed that into their own logo ( I'm serious

) and it seems some of their designs and illustrations were nicked from somewhere else aswell...
But good it got suspended, the KS probably never would have seen the light of day.

I'd be damned happy if I was foolish enough to pledge a couple hundred dollar to a scam and had someone sharper than I am bail me out and save my dough.
