Hello all

Not the Burning dessert as teased in a previous post, but the next scenario The Nameless Ruins.
We played this on July 14th, (actually twice with two different leagues) and we were able to actually get into the tomb scenario.(more on this later)

This was one of the two all ounted leagues that are playing in the campaign. This league was not always mounted in all of the scenarios that we played, but it certainly cam in handy in this game.

Again a few pages posted here the remainder at http://menelduir.blogspot.com/

Hope you enjoy!

Amazing 3-D table, Menelduir, and I am in awe of your magnificent mounted figures.  Great AAR, too.

Great looking game!  Your board is fantastic.

We have never played with mounts, but one of our leagues regularly fields a flyer.  Very similar advantage that you describe for mounts, with the addional benefit of being able to move out of shooting range altogether.  Very annoying if you don’t have a flyer.

Plus cover when shot at!

Also very difficult to pin in brawling given the ability of a mounted figure to disengage when they activate. That was a challenge the servants faced each time we played the scenario, it was nearly impossible to prevent mounted figures from leaving the table. Slowing them down was pretty tough too!

Another take on this scenario, chapter 3 (B) The Nameless Ruins.
Again a mounted league goes up against the servants of Apophis but with different results.
