15mm WSS/SYW Engineers/Miners?
« on: July 18, 2018, 04:00:32 PM »
Hi all,

Last Saturday we played a SYW game inspired from a Charles Grant scenario: "Demolish the bridge"
http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=110718.0

I had not proper figures for engineers, but I'm sure there must be someone who makes.
I would be interested to paint some engineers/miners as I plan a number of siege scenarios.
If any LAF fellow knows a company that produces 15mm engineers or miners for the Marlburian/WAS/SYW period, even for the siege of Vienna 1683, please let me know!

(or else I'll have to convert some artillerymen  :D )

I thought Heroics and Ros did them to go with their pontoon train.

I'm finishing an army in 15mm and Heroics and Ros is 6mm.
After your reply I went again and double checked their site if I had missed something.
Thank you for being so kind to answer my quest.

I have the Roundway ones, they are very good.

There were some others that got picked up by Magister Militum, not as good but add more variety

Thye're nice enough, but small, being 'true' 15mm. I use them as callow youths.

Not having done the comparison, please clarify which is the smaller. The first or the second you mention?

Sorry, I meant the Hallmark/Magister Militum range. Lots of useful bits & pieces.

Thank you!
I have looked, but as I don't own some minis from them, I couldn't make the comparison myself.
Lots of useful bits & pieces, indeed!

Hallmark! Thank you, I've been trying to remember where they started out.
Was Hallmark Steve Royen's work?

Lots of interesting 18th century pieces though.
