Empire Of Gaslands! (Fast & Furious Commission 10/21)

Since April, I've been doing a lot of Gaslands gaming because it's so super cheap, easy to set up, and accessible to every member of my family. But I did realize that I needed some proper terrain for it, rather than simply borrowing stuff from my old 15mm stash. Luckily, I was able to find these Death Race gates from tabletop-terrain that are 3D printed.

This is my son's first vehicle he designed specifically for Gaslands, named "The Gun Truck". He picked out all the parts, designed it, and painted it; while I helped with the assembly. The base model is a Hot Wheels '83 Silverado. We stripped it, gave it a new set of tires ("with blades on them!"), a modified tarp over the bed, a roof-mounted recoilless rifle, and mesh windshield.

Gaslands really is a great family game. I did get his permission to post this. Positive comments and constructive criticism is welcomed and I'll be reading it to him.

I remember that colour of orange on 1980s trucks (and some cars)!  Glad to see it's still around in the Gaslands future.

I have Gaslands in the works as well because it is such a great gateway game.

This was a commission piece I just finished for use with the Gaslands rules. The client supplied me with a nice variety of Fast and Furious cars, two Matchbox buggies, and some Ramshackle motorcycles and asked me to do some conversion work, while finishing them off in a very simple Black, Steel, and Rust paint scheme for everything.

I think I may nick your painting scheme for the black vehicles, I've ruined a couple of cars trying to get black right, and I had got the idea it was the easiest colour to do!

Your black paintjobs and weathering look great, especially that most recent black-and-blue lot!

Inspirational as I consider colour schemes for my first few Gaslands cars. I also love that you've gotten your son involved, I've been trying to coax a friend and his son into joining us for Gaslands by webcam but we can't yet make the schedules work out.
