Last weeks game was the 'Retreat to the sunken road' scenario from the Rebels and Patriots rulebook.
An 18 point British force defends against a 24 point French force somewhere in the Peninsula.
Lt Sharpe takes command of the Light Bobs and Sgt Harper commands the Rifle section, that leaves Sgt Hakeswill in charge of the line.
On the French side the overall commander is the dreaded Lt Pepe le Pugh in charge of the Line unit and three other French non entities commanding the rest.
The French are advancing out of the woods and must force their way across both fence/wall lines killing lots of Brits along the way.

The three British units take their positions at the first wall as they hear the pas de charge being drummed out in the woods to their front.
Suddenly from the tree line the French appear, skirmishers to the fore.

The French skirmishers and Light infantry reach the wall, Sharpe's unit begins to fall back but Hakeswill doesn't get the memo.
Harper turns his unit to try and enfilade the French.
But where are the French Line?
In the woods still trying to form up🙄
