Quite right - they can't get you if you hate everyone equally!

Lovely work, olicana!

On page 15 of this thread I said I wanted to get another dozen Perry plastic Brits to give me two units for R&P or three 8 figure units with 2 big men for SP, well last week I finished them.
Good core force for SP and along with the Elites (Rifles, Lights etc) gives me a fair amount of choice whatever rules I'm using.

The paint on those Frenchies is superb!  Very jealous.

I’ve considered buying direct from a brigade myself.....I wish a uk supplier would stock them....

Thanks both, the French are a mix of Perry and Warlord the only Brigade sculpts are the characters. I ordered about $50 worth of figures which didn't attract Customs fees or extra tax so maybe I was lucky because it was a small package   :)

I've started an elite unit of French Grenadiers for this collection, there will be 18 in total so they can be used with Rebels and Patriots and Sharpe Practice.
I wanted them to stand out on the table so I've painted them with white greatcoats (actually a very light grey) as some units were issued off white light greatcoats to protect from the Spanish sun and save wear and tear on their Habit Veste.

I really like your painting style, everything hangs together so well, troops and terrain. Great project and inspirational, (I'm doing the Peninsular War myself although in 40mm, I live in Spain).
