Just received the first casting of a new resin Moke today that has been designed by Steve McGuire.

It will hopefully be in the Crooked Dice website in a couple of months, maybe sooner.

In all seriousness, when’s the Moke due? And have you contacted Si for a decals package?

You can indeed stay in Portmeirion, as we did in March. Our room was behind "The Dome" and overlooked Number 6's courtyard, where the gift shop is housed. The whole Village in fact consists of guest accommodation.

As it was out of season it was quiet, so no crowds getting in the way of my photos. And yes, it IS even weirder at night. The bust of Patrick McGoohan was in a little alcove, lit up in the dark.

We didn't go there particularly because of the TV series, though I remembered watching it as a 10 year old, but it has provoked my interest since and Ive been watching bits on You Tube.

It would be quite a challenge turning this into a logical game, but if the miniatures are nice, that's an end in itself.

The GURPS source book might be useful.

Thanks - I’ve actually got a copy!

Of course you can use the same set for (28mm) Doctor Who.

Added a great find today, a 1/35 scale Tamiya Triceratops that will go with my Danger 5 force (not shown yet, but painted). The Nazi Dino-Soldiers episode was one of my favourites. Just need two MG34s and some string and this guy is ready to fight!

DVD set received, and I've watched the first episode (Arrival). Very weird, and sometimes disturbing but also intriguing.

And I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking up ways to get out of that dreadful place (my god; the big band  o_o ). I must have seen a dozen ways already, so it'll be interesting to see if number 6 thinks up at least some of the same ones... :D

And dino riding nazi's? Man, you are bad news for my spare time! lol It sounds like Kung Fury meets Iron Sky II, so it'll be a must watch now... ;D
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

You HAVE to watch Danger 5 - but only season 1. Season 2 is pretty bad.

You’ll be drawn to all kinds of weird and wonderful modelling ideas - and above all, KILL HITLER!  :`

I agree, series one is weirdly fascinating. The miniature work is suitably period (imagine Matt Irving on a budget - but no hair dryers).

The A.V.Club did a retrospective review with discussion on each episode, it's a pretty good companion to seeing the series for the first time if they're still up.

I think the first batch of episodes are quite good, but somewhere it drifts. S

Still proceeding with my Village, Danger 5, Archer, Scooby Doo, and McKenzie Brothers mashup. Take off, you hosers!
