The Battle of Bassal Buttar (40K)
« on: July 24, 2018, 08:50:55 PM »
Over the weekend I got in another game of 40K with the family and Amanda's Sisters FINALLY got to see some action!

There were Harlequins, Sisters of Battle, Tallarn Guardsmen and a HORDE of Orks involved in the action. All were trying to recover a piece of archaeotech from a ruin deep in the desert.

A full report of the action can be found on my blog:

http://saskminigamer.blogspot.com/2018/07/the-battle-of-bassal-buttar.html

Here are but a few of the pictures of the action...

A horde of orks pour over the horizon, destroying all hopes that this would be a simple recovery mission...

The enigmatic eldar had their part to play as well...

The Sisters make their stand on a dune on the edge of the ruined city.

Amanda had worn her sisters shirt "for luck"..

(it didn't work...)

Harlequins charging the Lootas

Wazzdigg's Warbuggy comes roaring in from the ruins to the rear of the Imperial Forces position!

Mixing it up with the Orks in a protracted melee...

Who survived this encounter? Who recovered the archaeotech artifact? Find out over on the blog...
