Getting Started with Chain of Command
« on: July 26, 2018, 12:39:45 AM »
In response to a fair few questions in forums and social media from new players I thought I would put together an overview of all the various bits and pieces I've pulled together to play Chain of Command. Just a personal perspective on things like basing and play aids showing what works on my table and not all of it original, many ideas lifted from other blogs, forums and pages, but I thought it worth sharing. You can find it all here http://thetacticalpainter.blogspot.com/2018/07/chain-of-command-beginners-guide.html

All great ideas, I have enjoyed your game reports and noticed your various markers and bits before , but it is good to have them detailed all in the same place. I will certainly be making some of my own, thanks for the detailed explanations.
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

I've added a few extra links in the post to useful forums, downloads and YouTube channels, as well as the official FAQ and other elements.

The blog post has been updated and now includes links for the TFL produced game markers, jump off points and patrol phase markers.
