28mm British riderless motorbike
« on: July 27, 2018, 11:41:11 AM »
Gents,

My google-fu has failed me, again. I'm looking for a 28mm/1:56 pre-1960 motorbike without a rider being cast sitting on it.

I do know there are numerous BMW options out there, but the engine shape sticks out as not being properly British, dammit!

The other options - such as the 1st Corps ones means I'd mangle the casting trying to get the rider off.
It would be much easier if someone was just holding the handlebars or leaning against it or even having the legs not cast as one with the frame/engine, I can handle doing just a 'bumectomy' around the seat/tank.

Hopefully someone will point out the well-know and blidingly obvious only an idiot could miss offerings of various BSA's from numerous companies that I have failed to uncover?

Cheers.

There was a Lesney/Matchbox diecast Triumph T110 with sidecar. It´s a rather common find on ebay.

Non of my motorcycles have the rider attached. The ones you looking at earlier have built on kit not riders.

Pester Nick Eyre from North Star miniatures - I sent him a master for a Triumph 3HW back in January but it’s not on his site yet!

how many masters unreleased , john ?  ;)
Dans les situations critiques, quand on parle avec un calibre bien en pogne, personne ne conteste plus. Y'a des statistiques là-dessus.

Ooh, I nearly bought most of the bits for one of those a few years ago. Can't go wrong at this size...

Cheers.
