Take yer pick...:
https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=street+advertisement+posters+from+the+1920%27s&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwitlrLDrMXcAhXrBcAKHb4OAb0Q_AUICigB&biw=1366&bih=654
or
https://www.google.co.uk/search?biw=1366&bih=654&tbm=isch&sa=1&ei=tT5eW7btBoH3gQbR5ZiYAw&q=rude+street+advertisement+posters+from+the+1920%27s&oq=rude+street+advertisement+posters+from+the+1920%27s&gs_l=img.3...18808.19679.0.20290.5.5.0.0.0.0.56.253.5.5.0....0...1c.1.64.img..0.0.0....0.MKLNILBb4OI
Print 'em out, stick 'em on, weather 'em.
Done!
(of course, you may want another era but it does seem to make different suggestions each time you click....).

Have you thought about using Orwell 1984 themed Posters. I think they would fit your ideas.
e.g. Victory Gin & Victory cigarettes
