Futurama-style travel tube

I wish someone would make 28mm Futurama characters.
Lacking these, I will settle for a summer project: a small travel tube station suitable for Necromunda-style games.

This was spurred on by this fortuitous find:



It seems to be a vending machine mechanism, or part of anyway.
This has now been disemboweled, and I found a pair of aquarium filter plastic tubes to add to the mix:
