I feel I have a huge inspiration debt to this Forum as I have spent many hours soaking up hobby from it's hallowed pages. As something of a way to payback (I hope) I'm starting a few threads of current projects in case anyone is interested. These are the first couple models from a hundred years war project I am slowly working away at these two are just stock standard perry HYW french, from the infantry and men at arms box.

I have decided to approach this project a little at a time, a knight/lord and a few men sworn to said knight/lord none of this is particularly historical just some fun and hopefully plausible for the period miniatures.

Great start, like the yellow I can never get yellow to look as good as this.

the next instalment, these chaps were actually painted first. I was trying to go for some different colours to what I might usually use but it didn't come out quite as different as I would have liked, its still sort of just red and blue. There is actually a fifth soldier in this retinue but he didn't make the photo. He must have been out running errands for his lord.
