A Right B****y Mess on the water
« on: August 06, 2018, 02:03:48 PM »
Hi all,

I have for some time wanted to start exploring the alternative history portrayed in Matthew Clarkson's magnificent tome A Right Bloody Mess (2017) which proposes the outbreak of an Australian (Civil) War 1933 '...with the secession of Western Australia, the Northern Territory (which together form the Dominion of Westralia) and Victoria' (http://arbm1933.blogspot.com/2017/).

I have been working on some conversions from the Eureka Miniatures cars for ARBM and Mad Maximillian http://eurekamin.com.au/news.php?newsid=EVpZyFkluFLRmJrPbR range but (not being much of a finisher) have recently decided to entertain a little distraction by working on the first water-born craft to add to this wonderful 'what if' - Australia's own VBSW. If this tickles your fancy you can see more on my blog about what becomes of an aged paddle steamer barge when things turn nasty on the Darling River in New South Wales. It's very much a WIP, but thought I'd give you a glimpse of where its heading (attached).

Cheers
Alan

Thanks cobbers! Lighting effect a lucky strike, Nic.

Will post an update when I finish her off.
