I will be nickstarer-ing these. The plastics look spiff, but I am really loving the metal champions and wizard(!) that are coming out along side them!

Looks like it is time to return to my GoT project...  :)

I like the shields. I prefer these to the cut out shields in the elf and goblin boxes.

I am hoping we get cavalry for the existing races before another race, but as I don't frequent social media I may disappointed.

With a bit of luck the elf cavalry will have the option for horse archers too.

This looks be the best set yet

Trudat.

I have no issue with the overall shape persé, but the ridiculously large shieldboss sort of kills it for me... ;)

Large shield bosses bother me a lot, it reduces the surface area for fancy-pants freehand :)

I like the orc set a lot but the small shield and big boss made it more difficult to paint an Eye of Sauron.
a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.

I guess they are Ok but definitively not at the level of the goblins.

I only planned on getting a box or two, but somehow ended up picking the five box deal, I just couldn’t resist those free metal characters 🙂

I bought in to the five box deal too.

I think they look fantastic and can't wait for them to arrive. Should be arriving in time Tim my birthday, so and an early present for myself.  ;)

Maybe I'm just too young to appreciate these, but they look like 15mm figures in proportion and execution. Which is not a compliment.

I do like the "Roman era Briton" look they've got going on, so there is that.

15mm.

When you see them in the real world, there's nothing 15mm about them.

We need bulk Human fighters to fill various roles in our game sessions. This might be the best looking, most cost effective way to tick that box.

Seriously - they're truely wonderul, very detailed and characterful minis.

I think the issue is with the presentation mostly. Other similar products are introduced with a constant stream of super shiny images of well painted minis lined up for battle etc. I can think of 2 very promising looking competitors, which, at a closer inspection, have a product that iscertainly not better than the OM humans. Yet, they bang the drum like Tessa May on Acid AKA they do proper targetted Ad's all over the internetz. :--)

I appreciate your comment Schrumpfkopf. We do actually do very well with these things you know. Between Osprey and myself, we cover a lot of ground in getting the word out there. Sure, there wasn't a long run up of promotion for this release, and the figures are actually being painted now, but we'll continue to promote the figures long, long after the launch. We're not a 'Kickstarter, arrrgh buy it all now!' company, we keep at it.
We also have a large trade distribution network, once the Humans are ready, we'll be shipping them into shops around the world every day.

So the noisy people can keep banging on the internet, but we'll still be selling Oathmark figures long into the future.

Yeah, I am sure that you can reach a lot of people with more traditional channels, and I wasn't talking about your business model, but about the visibility of OM in Social Media.

"'Kickstarter, arrrgh buy it all now!' companies" <-- Not cool.

I do appreciate your comments, and the view that OM is not visible on SM is one not put to me before. I think the fact the game isn't out makes yet us hold back a little bit.

I didn't get your 'not cool' comment, until I realised you are Westphalia. My comment wasn't directed at you, please don't take it personally.
