So where has Craig been?
« on: August 12, 2018, 10:23:33 AM »
On May 6th we had a house fire. No-one was hurt and it is still standing, but we lost about 90% of our possessions. So one could say I have been a little distracted.

My apologies for not being here that often in the intervening period. We are in a temporary accommodation deep into the Welsh hills, and the internet is just one step up from dial-up.

I have managed to keep in touch on Facebook through my phone, but it really does not like LA for some reason.

We shall not be back in our house until near Christmas, when normal service shall be restored.

Charles and I shall be at The Other Partizan in Newark (UK) next Sunday, running a Thud & Blunder participation game. If you are there please drop by and have a chat.
My sincerest contrafibularities

That's terrible.
Glad no one was hurt.

+1 to the grateful no-one was hurt.
Hope you & yours get back to 'normality' before Christmas.
Are you short of 'wargames stuff'? I know (heartbreaking as it would be later) toy soldiers
are the last thing I would rescue from a burning building. I ask because if there is any part
of your Lead Mountain you would like to replace (& if I have any of it in my Lead Mountain)
you are welcome to it & I could bring it to Partizan. Let me know & I will search for you.

You DO know we're thinking an apology is a bit silly in a case like this.

Likewise, if needing something out out of print as well, let us know.

Thanks everyone. Fortunately most of my gaming stuff was in a room relatively untouched by the smoke, which caused most of the damage.

On the upside we get a full house makeover, so I will finally get my own home office :)

Well Christmas is upon us and we're still not in the house. It looks like it will be March now before we return.

Good news is that I shall finally have my own office/hobby room. It will be very small (it's the smallest bedroom), but it will be mine, all mine I tell you! No more lurking in a corner of the dining room.

Currently Charles and I are concentrating in getting Thud & Blunder (our fantasy skirmish rules) ready for printing, so very little is being done on anything else, and the reason you don't see me in here as often as I should.

Glad to see you when you are here. Congrats on the new hobby room. I'm still painting and assembling between meals at the kitchen table.

I know that you've been asked this before somewhere but I can't find it - and I apologize in advance for annoying you - but will Gothic ever be available for Kindle? I really want a copy, but getting books sent here is not an easy task. I love IHMN and really want to get the new installment.

Not specifically for Kindle, but you can get all of the Ministry's books as PDFs from www.snmstuff.com for about half the price of the hardcopy.
This shop is run by our friend Sean and he is our official digital distributor.

Oh, fine. Not like our shop has sold all the hardcopies we had... :-[

Just teasing; only a couple Sleeping Dragons and an HVF left, and I know I would love digital copies myself.

Outcast (from house) til March? Sincerest condolences. I'd not be so sanguine myself.
