Recently, I decided to start making and (hopefully) painting miniatures again, having spent several years accumulating a mountain of unassembled models.
This is one of the projects I’ve been working on - a collection of warbands that draw inspiration from Paul Bonner’s Trudvang paintings and sketches, as well as Alan Lee’s Mabinogion and LotR illustrations. It began with sculpting a treasure chest,
based on one of my favourite Paul Bonner paintings, and will grow from here to include bands of dwarves, men, goblins/trolls, and various other creatures and bits of scenery.
