Definitely not regretting it yet. I'm moving into aircraft soon I think, and I think those should have a different scheme, not sure on what yet though.

Oh hey, good idea. I was thinking pale grey but not sure what to do on top, that sounds like a good one!

Either that or the lighter colour all over, that might be a bit too much though  :?

Very, very nice. I take it your is an SLA printer. What resolution is that at?
I might need to start out my own little epic force (Don't think it would work too well on an FDM printer at 100 microns though)

Yeah, if extrusion printers would be pulling these result....  o_o Its a SLA indeed, resolution a mix of 25 and 50-micron prints.

Been following closely.  :-*

Must be fun to print your own models.

Anyway the Basilisks are my favorite and am looking forward to see how the Leman Russ tanks come out.

Addictive is the word I think. As for the russes they are going to come out in force,  have a unit of 10 ready and primed now!

With this project rolling along nicely, I've started thinking about scenery. I have a decent collection of desert rocks mesa's and bluffs that are all scale agnostic enough to be of use. I've been working on some hills with cliffs and escarpments as well which all fits the generic armageddon terrain I think.
However I'm lacking area terrain that can provide good cover, and now the idea plopped into my head to make large fields of ruble, together forming a crashed ork spaceship. I blame the fact that the spacemarine PC game was given away for free last week, and the very first level of that game has you fighting on top of a ork ship in the atmosphere. I realized that a crashed version could work well as terrain and the flat ish surface could even be passable (but dangerous) to vehicles.

My next update is extra small, a autocannon for one of my support squads. Models by dark realm miniatures, now scattered among a couple of manufacturers I believe.

Thats a nice little model.

Do you know who has the Dark Realm Models now? I have quite a few of their models, mainly Skyth and it would be good to know where to be able to get more from.

I'm not sure if he own the molds or is stocking them though.  :? I really would love to get my hands on some more regular infantry.
