Look for 28mm FBI/crime scene investigators
« on: August 12, 2018, 07:13:57 PM »
I was wondering if anyone out there knows of any 28mm figures suitable for crime scene investigators? I found some that would be perfect (from Rebel Minis) but they're in 15mm. The guy on the far right of this pic is exactly what I'm looking for:

Ideally unarmed or failing that lightly armed (pistols, etc). I was thinking some sort of foreman or construction worker would be fine, but I can't any non-sci-fi versions of those either!

Cheers
Finn

Thanks for the suggestion!

I'd already been there and will be getting some of the less military minions to convert into a forensic team (with some green-stuff dust masks) - but hadn't spotted any figures in windcheaters/jackets. I'll grab another look tomorrow.

Cheers

Always my first port of call.
My SOCO team and detective:

Annie uses a Crooked Dice Scientist and an original Daughter of Shiva head.
DC Rivers uses the Man From 3000 body (I think the pistol is a Time Lift Security one) and the Minion Technician head.

A "Scientific Advisor".

CD scientist with flask, tablet hand (from an ARC astronaut) and bouffant minion head.

Not sure if I have the other scientist painted.

Awesome - Crooked Dice and a mini-saw it is then!

The pandemic figures look good too, but most of them are a bit too high tech for what I'm after.

Yikes.  Well, nevermind then.  I placed an order with them in 2015 and got everything I ordered right away, but sounds like things have gotten quite dodgy since then.

Yep, I actually started putting an order together from Nexus (under its new name) just after you posted but in the middle their site went into maintenance mode and it's been down since...
