Very cool project! And a fine rendering of a Dryad. By the way their name comes from the word Drys, that means oak in Greek.
Artemis traditionaly had a following of nymphs, dryads, hunting dogs, wild animals like boars, bears, deers. Orion the hunter and Scorpion were two of her male followers. In fact Scorpion killed Orion obeying her order. They both became constellations, one to rise when the other set, so they wont meet again.
Αtalante was also a member of her entourage and Ippolytos son of Theseus was devoted to her.

Ps Apollon her twin brother could make a guest star appearance

Thank you for the historical details ;)

A lot of opportunities then.

Artemis and Apollon are a good shooters team.....but that's makes 2 Gods in the same faction   :?

More pictures this week-end about the finished dryads and i'm preparing a tuto for the Dryad's conversion job on the Heroclix. ;)

enjoy
Eric

Thank you Paul.

And it's really easy to do.
The most difficult step is to find the good look to give the tree a natural shape by gluing the good branches at the right places...And to be careful at your hand with hotglue gun.

cheers
Eric

Very cool, with all of my recent work on Greek soldiers myself, it seemed only natural to add some Gods for OGAM.  I was also thinking Artemis, and this was a huge inspiration.

I was having trouble finding a good Goddess model though.  Were there other models that you considered before landing on your Frost Giant from Reaper?

Thank you!

Thank you guys,

For Artemis, you can pick up a 75 mm or 54 mm figurine from the modelling world.
You can find some cheap ones on Ali Express (Resin).
I like Reaper because you can have 75mm or higher figurines for cheap and they are easy to work  ;)

a long time spend since my last post.

i'm back with the Heroclix version for the Dryads.  ;)
here are the victims :

Magma

Green flame

unkowned girl ?

Fatality

they are the bases of the conversion for this part of the Project.

Here we have to create the tree trunk as a base for receiving the heroclix figurines.

a sample of metal wire and electric ones, and a hot glue work to cover the trees :

the final look just before the undercoat, with Green Flame :

the idea is to create a dryad emerging from the tree trunk   ;)

thank you Hu Rhu.

i try to keep it easy for eveyone.  ;)

when all the lot is dry , i wrap the tree trunks with paper hankerchief and glue-varnish and then add the white undercoat

Another good option for even more Dryads for your Forest Army!
 ;)

Nice work, sir.

Thank you!

I have been keeping my Gods/Goddesses in the 40mmm ish bracket, which can be more restricting but there are options out there with a little conversion work.
Do you have a preferred size or are you heading down the 'larger model' God route?

hey Mason,
For God figurines, i'm lurking between 50mm and 75mm in size. Cheap ones  ;)
As 28mm it's too small (and more human size than gods).
As you say, 40mm are very limited. I have look in the plastic 1/32 ranges but they aren't cheap . Biblical 1/32 can be founded like these (from Russia) :
